Registration & Exhibition Rules

Registering your models for the show takes about a minute and doesn’t require an account. NOTE: Our head judge Zach Becker has developed an easy-to-use online registration. All info you provide only goes to the NCMSS for the show, no third party!

  1. Click on the "Register an Entry" link below, then fill out:

    • Your Name

    • Email & Phone - In case we need to reach you!

    • Model or subject name - What the judges and results list will call your entry

    • Category - Pick the one that best fits your entry

    • Notes - Describe details the judges should know (techniques, conversions, etc. The judges read this, so it's worth a few sentences!)

  2. Tap Submit Entry - You'll see your Entry Number, a QR Code, a "Print my tag" button, and two links:

    • Register another Entry (The $20 entry fee covers 1 to 100+ exhibits, no limit!)

    • View My Entries

  3. Print your tag - Once you've finished registering your entries, click "Print my tag". You'll get a card with your model's title, category, and notes along with a QR code to set beside your model at the show.

NCMSS  65th Annual Show Theme

This year we're honoring the 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence. In keeping with this theme, the NCMSS is pleased to announce an original limited edition figure of John Hancock which is now available for purchase. The bust was 3-D sculpted and printed by Bernard Kempinski. Included with the bust is a "John Hancock 1776" signature plate in two sizes (pictured below). A rosewood base is also available for an additional fee. Supplies are limited so get yours while you can!

Take Your Skills to the Next Level!

The NCMSS and the Army Historical Foundation are excited to sponsor a two-day painting seminar on September 10-11 by Jim Rice. Jim Rice is a gold-medal-winning miniature figure painter, co-owner of SABOT Miniatures, and the Miniature Figure Collectors of America (MFCA) 2024 Grand Master recipient. Visit the SABOT Miniatures website for more information and to reserve your spot.
